My life changed vocationally and spiritually by learning Reiki in 1999. I wanted to switch to a career helping people, and I completed a BTEC Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage and then a degree in Osteopathy. In 2007 I started the Felixstowe Clinic of Osteopathy. Then in 2018 wishing for an adventure, I passed my Felixstowe business to a friend and headed west to Llangollen, in North Wales. 2020 the pandemic happened and resulted in me working for the NHS, Retiring from Osteopathy in July 2021, allowed me to focus on the 2 therapies which I’m most passionate about : Craniosacral therapy and Root Cause Therapy. However, presently I’m working full-time for the NHS, hence only offering Root Cause Therapy on Saturdays.
My personal journey lead to Buddhism as a great philosophy for life, and ultimately to interest in awakening, spirituality, mindfulness and unconditional love. I have been guiding people in these things since 2014. Through the process of spiritual guiding, witnessing cycles of tension and postural patterns in thousands of patients over the years, and seeing stress and illness in the world at large – I have begun to really taken on-board the term “dis-ease”, which A.T.Still, the founder of Osteopathy coined in the 19th century. It is my passion to have a truly holistic approach, to help people out of “dis-ease” into fundamental wellness.
